House Party, the puzzle

This gift guide almost didn’t exist
To me, 2025 is feeling like a buy-nothing, handmade holiday where time together > online shopping. Anyone else? (Recession indicator? Half-joking, because those things should be more important than gift purchases every year, of course!)
As I started to put together gift picks, I was reminded of the silver lining of holiday shopping: The opportunity to support makers and creators, as well as businesses that operate with human health & the environment at the heart of what they do.
In addition to reflecting the values of Sway, this year, my prompts were:
Gifts should DELIGHT.
Gifts should be enjoyed RIGHT AWAY. (Think: Unwrap, and an hour later, your cousin is engrossed in the cookbook on the couch or bedecked in a fluffy new robe for the foreseeable future.)
Gifts shouldn’t be CRAZY EXPENSIVE. (In this economy?)
Keep an eye on your inbox for: gift picks for little ones, + DIYs to come :)

Robe, Hommey: $97 (with 25% off for Black Friday), 100% organic cotton
House Party Puzzle, Birdie: $32, 100% recycled materials + soy-based inks
Included for obvious reasons.
Non-alcoholic Bellini, Proxies: $17 (on sale)
We collab’d with Proxies for a Dry January giveaway a few years ago, and their non-alocholic wines are GOOOOOD. I haven’t tried the newish Bellini, but it feels like the perfect bottle to pop on a holiday morning.
Gourmet Salt Flight, Syracuse Salt Co.: $30
1. This is from my hometown, “Salt City,” baby!
2. The Roasted Garlic Flake Salt is 🤌.
3. In general, some of the most memorable gifts I’ve received over the years have been salts & spices! I think of the gift giver every time I use them, and new flavors immediately make cooking more interesting & fun.
Day Bottle, Bink: $25 (Black Friday sale)
I have two of these glass & silicone bottles, and their new silhouette actually fits in a cupholder. 🙃
Mini Frypan, Green Pan: $25 (on sale) PFAS-free non-stick
Tiny pans are so ridiculously cute and surprisingly practical. This is a great little entry point for the family member you’re trying to ween off of Rachael Ray’s PTFE-containing non-stick line. 😉
Cookbook, Pastry Temple by Christina Wood: $24
I’m gluten-free. 🥲 But in another timeline, I’m baking every flour-filled recipe in this book.
Guided Journal, Worthwhile Paper: $28, 100% recycled paper

Happy gifting/you probably deserve one of these, right?
