There’s a long weekend ahead. Which means you don’t want a long newsletter! 

So here’s a short one, with a rundown of some of the best sales happening, in case you need to restock better-made bed linens or toddler PJs. They grow so fast! 

I hope you find yourself at the lake, on the beach, or somewhere green, surrounded by your favorite people, from now until Tuesday. But the forecast is “damp and gloomy” for my East Coast folks. Should you wind up scrolling and shopping instead, here’s an edit of worthwhile deals (I used a lot of restraint!).

Baby & kids 

Hanna Andersson, up to 50% off everything: A go-to for sleepwear that meets our rigorous Sway specs for textiles. “HannaJams fabric” is made from 100% organic cotton certified to both the Global Organic Textile Standard and OEKO-TEX. Hard to beat! And the prints…

Pehr, 35% off everything: Don’t snooze on the crib sheets. (Actually, buy them, and do.) They don’t have that dual certification referenced above, but they are made from GOTS-certified organic cotton. This gingham bucket hat is almost too cute. The whimsical little mushroom mobile we have in our nursery is on sale, too! 

Bedding & home

Under The Canopy, 30% off everything: You can’t really go wrong with bedding basics from Under The Canopy. Their organic cotton sheets & towels are certified to both the Global Organic Textile Standard and OEKO-TEX. They’re a day one Sway brand. ;)

Lulu & Georgia, up to 30% off: Not usually my go-to for organic home goods, but certainly a STAPLE for scoping good design. That said, they’ve got some sweet organic cotton towels…certified to OEKO-TEX, not the Global Organic Textile Standard, so we’ll call them good, not great. Great-looking? Yes, ma’am! The easiest way to lazy-decorate a blah bathroom is having a cute hand towel or bath towel hung up. Look at Lupita! Look at Enzo! 

Lorena Canals, up to 50% off everything: Is it time for a washable rug? If you have kids or pets then…yes. Yes it is. I spent last weekend remediating one of our rugs for toddler-related reasons and never have I ever been happier that it could be tossed in a machine and also remain resilient in the face of aggressive scrubbing.  

Crib, kid & adult mattresses 

Naturepedic, 20% off: I’m giving Naturepedic the gold medal for Memorial Day mattress sales. They’re offering the deepest discount of all the Sway-fave mattress brands. $223 for their crib mattress.

Random things to love

Sabai sofas, sleepers and sectionals, 15% off: In a world where it’s nearly impossible to find a couch made entirely without chemicals of concern, there’s a lot to love about Sabai. Fabrics that are untreated (no PFAS), solid wood frames made from FSC-certified wood, water-based finishes. My main gripe when I reviewed their loveseat back in 2024 was that they used CertiPUR-US certified foam: Better than baseline polyurethane foam, but not as good as natural latex. Welp, they’ve got natural latex cushions as an option now, folks! Guess you can have it all. Also, their colorways have come a long way in a few years. WISHLISTTTT.
